Silent Hill: Townfall Drops Nearly 19 Minutes of Gameplay

Konami, Annapurna Interactive, and developer Screen Burn Interactive have released an extended gameplay trailer for the new Silent Hill entry Silent Hill: Townfall, running nearly 19 minutes.
The footage follows protagonist Simon Ordell as he is called back to the fog-shrouded Scottish island town of St. Amelia to “make things right.” Segments include the opening, exploring the Shorefront area’s houses and apartments using the CRTV (a portable television that tunes into unstable signals), investigating Zoe’s house and its puzzles, the first monster encounter, and entering the Otherworld with a pistol in hand before exploring a tenement building.
The game is experienced entirely in first-person, focusing on atmospheric psychological horror. The CRTV serves as a core tool for uncovering clues, detecting enemies through walls, and aiding stealth. Melee weapons have limited durability, combat is frantic but secondary to careful exploration, hiding, and environmental tactics. The visuals deliver a highly realistic fog-drenched town that shifts into a nightmarish Otherworld.
Silent Hill: Townfall launches on September 24, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). Digital Deluxe Edition pre-orders unlock 48-hour early access.
